The Knight Who Almost Fell

She brought him out of the darkness a few years ago. She reached out to him and he reached back for hand. Marius hanged on a cliff near the stone steps of Zenithon’s park. Only one hand was able to get a grip on the crooked rock. Someone pushed him from behind. He could feel his arms beginning to lose hold. He wore a simple shirt with leather pants and leather shoes. Marius screamed for help. But, no one would come. Time passed and more sweat followed. It was dark and very quiet that night.
Marius went to the park to be alone and gather his thoughts. His thoughts was getting ahead of him that night. Every so often, Marius has to make a effort to escape his mind before his mind turns against him. He didn’t see who did it but he vowed to get revenge on the person that did. There he lay on the ledge. Gripping it with his life. The cold air blew past his body. After a few minutes, the rock gripped began to break. The ledge couldn’t support his body much longer. His time was running. Sweat started dripping from his hair. He felt it again. The last moment before death. It was coming again. He always felt that moment before he was about to die. Suddenly, she appeared behind a tree. A glow of pink surrounded her. She wore a black dress. It looked like a night gown. It was smooth and slick. She grabbed Marius’s left hand and pulled him up. Her strength was not human. The blue hair and young face drew Marius to her. His eyes were locked on to her eyes. He looked at her and time stopped in Marius’s mind. The strange woman put Marius in the grass and let go of his hand.
She stared at him. Staring deep with dark pupils. Her eyes suddenly start to become filled with pink fire. The light casted a ray of pink aura around Marius. His whole body had a tint of pink to it. Marius looked into them and then she said something. “Are you feeling better,” said Lala. “Yes, I am, what do they call you?” said Marius. “Lala,” said Lala. “Do you want to see me again,” said Lala. Marius, thought for a minute. Any man would say yes without thinking but Marius had to think. He worried if she would kill him. He knew she wasn’t human. But, she made a move on him. Marius thought about what the other Gods would say if they fell in love. If they actually fell in love. Lala looked at him and said “Don’t worry, no one will know. It will be our secret.” Marius then said, “Yes.” Not knowing what would exactly happen next. He said yes. She was beautiful and she save his life. Marius spoke to Lala a few more times in secret and then he fell in love.
